Have I mentioned how much I love shopping online? I've had several very good and very bad experiences over the past couple years buying major purchases online. One of the best resources I've found is CSN stores. (And I have several friends who do as well and I'm amazed that I have never heard a bad thing about them.) Besides the low prices, I love the free shipping, easy returns and great customer service!
Now you know I'm a huge fan of cookware.com and allchildrensfurniture.com because I've shared about them before, but did you know that there are actually over 200 CSN stores? All with the same great service, huge inventory and great prices. You can find pretty much anything you need from bathroom sink to beds to bikesto playsets.
When I go to a home store looking for a bathroom vanity, they have maybe 30 options, most of which aren't what I'm looking for. But I love how with CSN I can search for the exact type, size, shape and price I want to find the perfect bathroom vanity for my kids bathroom, like this little number:
Hello, Gorgeous!! Don't you think that would look FABULOUS in my kid's bathroom? Me too.
Last year we were looking for a breakfast nook for our new house and I was tearing my hair out because no one had them - or they were cheap and ugly. And look what I found on CSN:
Its only EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! For only $400 with free shipping. Darn it!! I'm coming here first next time!
I encourage you to check out CSN stores for yourself - you'll be amazed!
disclosure: This is a sponsored post for csn stores. while these opinions are mine, i was compensated for this post.

Kristin Chenoweth has recently partnered with Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption to help them raise awareness for foster care adoption. An adoptee herself, she has become a huge face for the cause and has re-confirmed her commitment this week by coming out to support the Foundation in their annual marquee program – Father’s Day Frosty Weekend.
During Father's Day Frosty Weekend (June 19 and 20), Wendy's will donate 50-cents from every Frosty product sold to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a non-profit public charity dedicated to increasing the adoptions of the more than 123,000 children in North America’s foster care system. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness and over $1.7 million for the Foundation. All of the funds raised will go towards their signature program - Wendy’s Wonderful Kids – which funds full-time recruiters in all 50 states to devote their full attention to matching prospective parents with waiting foster care children.
Kristin is encouraging everyone to support the campaign – go to your nearest Wendy’s and buy a Frosty this weekend or go to Frostycard.com and send a personalized e-card – and 50-cents with go to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption to support their efforts in finding homes for the over 123,000 kids who are awaiting adoption.

We're just entering the world of digital books in our home and we were lucky enough to be introduced to Mobi Stories the other day through a fabulous event hosted by Classy Mommy, Chester County Moms, Mommies With Style and Role Mommy.
We've read one or two digital books before, but I've never been very impressed. They always seemed so boring, just a page shown on the screen and an arrow to click to turn the page. My kids have already outgrown that and get bored quickly.
But Mobi Stories books are interactive. Even my 5-year-old, who is a computer expert, was engaged in the books. She loved The Marvelous Toy and read it several times. My two-year-old son really liked the Transportation series that has Features 4 interactive jigsaw puzzles on every page as well, which is great for kids learning how to use a mouse. Both kids loved every book they read and wanted to know if we could bring them home!
I was thrilled - I like having options on my computer that do not involve the kids going online. If I can't monitor where they are very closely, a digital book on my computer is the perfect alternative. The books were fun, had amazing music and illustrations and - most importantly - kept the kids engaged and interested in reading more!.
I LOVE that Mobi Stories books are multi-lingual - many of their newest interactive line of books offer the story in both English and Spanish, and some even offer Chinese as well. I feel like for a $.99 app, I'm getting a lot for my money!
Mobi Stories has tons of titles, for readers ages 2-10, and are available for iPod, iPad, iPhone, Mac and PC computers, and can even be played on Playstation, XBox and Wii.
disclosure: i attended an event hosted by mobistories and received a few books to download to facilitate my review. i was not compensated financially for this post.

Last week, I met some of my favorite local bloggers at the new Seasons 52 restaurant in King of Prussia hosted by Best Buy.
I've been wanting to try Seasons 52 since it opened, but haven't had the chance. The restaurant was gorgeous and the staff was wonderful. I was blown away by the food: The entire menu changes weekly, based on what is fresh and in season. They don't use butter (only olive oil) and there isn't a deep fryer in the restaurant. Talk about refreshing! They even promise that nothing on their menus is more than 475 calories.
My FAVORITE was dessert. I can never decide what dessert to get (because I love dessert) so I think they invented their Mini Indulgences just for me! There's a variety of desserts served in very small portions so you can enjoy a few things without going overboard. Here's the picture from the website:
YUM, right? I think I have a new favorite restaurant. I can't wait to go back for girls night out or a date night!
The event was sponsored by Best Buy,
and they shared with us a little bit about their company and their work
in the community. I have to say, I was very impressed. Yes,
They specifically wanted us to know about their desire to support young teens. They currently have two philanthropy projects — a program about giving a voice to teens called @15, and a tech training program for teens girls called Geek Squad Summer Academy. I loved hearing from a female store manager about her passion for mentoring women in her store!
Personally, I love seeing a company that clearly cares about making a difference in the world, takes care of its employees and - in turn - has employees who are passionate about what they do. That's a better advertisement than the one in the newspaper! I'm much more inclined to give a company I trust my business. I love how knowledgeable the employees are - I'm computer shopping, so I was in heaven asking all sorts of questions about what I should get!
I once again brought my camera and was so busy chatting to my PSMM gals and the fabulous
Special thanks to the fabulous ladies at Just Centsible Consulting, Best Buy, and Seasons 52 for a lovely evening!

I recently discovered an absolute gem of a company called ZOOCCHINI. They have whimsical plush stuffed animals, sweet hooded towels and adorable dinner sets. Everything is uniquely designed, well made, super cute and very affordable!
I LOVE the dinner sets! Colin absolutely loves his
and insists on using it for almost every meal. Its is so adorable (with
original artwork), includes a plate, bowl, fork, spoon and sippy cup
with lid AND its BPA and Phthalate FREE! It is very well made - not the
flimsy plastic you often get with kids plates and such - and the
utensils are sized perfectly for little hands.
We also tried out a ZOOCCHINI hooded towel - it is fabulous for the pool in
the summer. Its generously sized, super soft, and sooo adorable. I'm so
tired of buying character-themed beach towels that get rough and fade
just as soon as you wash them - such a waste of money. But the ZOOCCHINI hooded towel has survived several trips to the pool - and just as many washings - and is just as soft as it started out!
Both of these items would make fabulous gifts for birthdays, baby gifts, or holiday gifts. As a parent, I love when people think out of the box and give gifts that aren't just name brand toys from the big box store. Something unique and useful is much more appreciated!
ZOOCCHINI is offering Girlymama readers 20% off your entire order for the next 30 days! Use coupon code ZOOC20 at checkout!
